India's largest cellular service provider, Bharati Airtel, has finally launched the much awaited iPhone 3GS in India. It is available in two versions, the 16 GB and 32 GB in Black and White colour.


INDIA'S LARGEST cellular service provider, Bharati Airtel, has finally launched the much awaited iPhone 3GS in India. It is available in two versions, the 16 GB and 32 GB in Black and White colour. The one with 16 GB memory card is available for Rs. 35,500 and 32 GB has the selling price of Rs. 41,500 in India.



The company is however selling the 3G iPhone with 8GB memory card at Rs. 29,500. Airtel has also offered to provide 500 MB of free data every month from the date of activation to its iPhone 3GS customers.


The iPhone 3GS offered by Airtel has a long lasting battery back up , a 3 MP camera with auto-focus and video recording with hands free voice control. The cherry on the cake is that Apple’s application Store provides access to more than 1.5 lakh applications across various segments such as, financial planning, social networking, health management, games and many more.


 

The i phone 3GS with 16 GB memory card is priced at Rs. 35,500 and its 32GB version is up for sale at Rs. 41,500 in India. The company however continues to sell the 3G iPhone with 8GB memory card at Rs. 29,500. Airtel also offers to provide 500 MB of free data every month from the date of activation to its i phone 3GS customers for a year.



The i phone 3GS is seen as the most powerful and the fastest phone ever introduced by Apple. Airtel has earlier partnered with i phone to bring the iPhone 3 G to Indian shores about 18 months back. The handset will be available at Air tel Authorized Stores and the phone will be locked with Airtel and will work only with an Activated Air tel SIM card.



The iPhone 3GS has been envisioned as a great achievement by Apple.The handset will be available at Airtel Authorized Stores. The phone will work with only an airtel activated sim card.
