3D glasses are of two types based on the lens.Passive lens are obviously cheaper.The simple glasses made of cardboard and feature two of diffrent colours-one for each eye.Such glasses with lens of diffrent colours are called anaglyph lens,the term owing its origins to the Greek term anglyphos that refer to an object that Protrudes only very slightly from a background.
